“One soul can and did make a difference.”

-Mike Davis

Covid Christmas Parade is a short children’s book that beautifully illustrated how this Covid situation has affected everyone’s favorite holiday of the year.

It’s the story of a boy who was sad because he couldn’t celebrate this year’s Christmas with his friends and family but his family encouraged him to save the Christmas and he thought and thought and finally figured it out. After all, Christmas is Christmas when all are together.

This story gives out a message that in time of need, even the smallest good deed can make a big difference. Even one person can make a difference and change things. Everything about this book is cheerful. The way it all rhymed made it more enjoyable and the bright colorful illustrations bring out the best Christmas spirit.

Personally, I really loved the idea the boy came up with. It was unique and fun, and worth giving a shot in real. This year has made us all feel very low especially children, such a joyful story is a great way of bringing back their enthusiasm and hope, and to let them know that things can change and bad times can change into good times if only one tries hard enough.
